At Heartful Photography, I believe every moment deserves to be beautifully captured and cherished. Founded by Abigail Cogdell, a passionate photographer with a BA (Hons) in Commercial Photography from the University of Derby, the studio is dedicated to crafting stunning imagery that authentically reflects the unique personalities and heartfelt stories of each client.
My love for photography sparked the moment I received my first phone. From the very beginning, I was captivated by capturing the playful energy of my dogs and the graceful elegance of my horses. Though the camera quality was modest, it never diminished my excitement in creating beautiful images that revealed their unique personalities.
As smartphone cameras evolved, so did my photography skills, allowing me to refine my understanding of horse behavior and master the art of capturing their true essence. I found immense joy photographing my sister and friends as they navigated fence jumps, carefully counting their strides to capture that perfect split-second—mid-air, suspended as if flying. Each shot demanded precision and flawless timing, leaving no margin for error to preserve the power, grace, and beauty of every moment.
